My Approach

I believe counseling is most powerful when grounded in a relationship of safety, trust, and authentic connection. My approach is relational and steady, gently attuned to the emotional and spiritual layers of your experience.

In my work with both individuals and couples, I draw from a blend of evidence-based practices and intuitive presence. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Reality Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches, all rooted in attachment theory and emotionally focused frameworks. These tools support emotional regulation, clarity, self-understanding, and deeper intimacy — with yourself and in your relationships. A central aim of this work is helping you align your actions and choices with your core personal values, so that how you live more fully reflects what truly matters to you.

Whether you’re moving through grief, navigating shifts in identity or relationships, or simply feeling the quiet ache of disconnection, our work will move at your pace — with clarity, compassion, and care. I don’t offer quick fixes; I offer steady companionship on the path of meaningful, embodied change.

Rooted in lived experience, body-based awareness, and a deep love of the natural world, my practice honors growth as a lifelong, layered, and often nonlinear journey. This is an invitation to listen inward, tend to what truly matters, and step more fully into who you are becoming.

About Me

Hi, I’m Talor Lee Stiles. Before pursuing my Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling I practiced as a Certified Life and Relationship Coach for 4 years. I’m deeply committed to helping individuals and couples strengthen their connection to themselves and to one another.

Before stepping into the world of coaching and now counseling, I worked as a personal trainer and massage therapist. That hands-on work gave me a lasting appreciation for the wisdom of the body, the importance of trust and attunement, and how healing is often rooted in connection — to ourselves, to others, and to something larger.

My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your story. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a safe, collaborative space — one where all parts of you are welcome. Whether you’re facing inner turmoil, navigating relationship challenges, or seeking clarity and self-understanding, I’m here to hold space and walk alongside you.

Outside of my work, I live with my family on a small homestead in the Puget Sound region of Washington. I’ve been in a committed relationship for 16 years, and over that time, we’ve moved through many phases of growth and transformation. Together with our two daughters, we live close to the land and center our lives around values of simplicity, presence, and connection to nature. For me, tending to my own spiritual, emotional, and physical health isn’t just personal — it’s also the foundation of the work I do with others.

If you’re considering therapy, I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out is an act of courage — and I’d be honored to support you in this part of your journey.
